When Does Virtual Acupuncture Make Sense?
-
Immune Compromised Patients
Avoiding all unnecessary contact but still need relief.
-
Embryo Transfer Acupuncture
Some clinics across the country still aren’t allowing Acupuncturists on site for treatments. We can guide you while you’re on the table prepping for transfer in just 15 minutes!
-
Currently Sick & Don’t Want to Infect Anyone
Acupuncture is a great immune booster and stress reliever. If you have any sort of illness we can still treat you without putting anyone at risk.
-
Our Offices Are Too Far
If you live outside of the Philadelphia region, we can combine in depth consults with Virtual Acupuncture to make it feel like you’re in the office with us and still work with our amazing team of providers.
The Process
2
To receive an individualized packet of stickers, you can either come to any of our offices and pick up a packet or let us know your address and we can ship them directly to you by mail (takes 2 days to arrive)!
3
At the time of your appointment, you’ll be emailed a link to follow that starts a HIPAA compliant video chat through our scheduling software with one of our providers. They’ll check in with you about your goals, ask the right questions, and demo how to use the stickers.
4
Using a combo of your camera and imagery from the web, they’ll then expertly guide you to self administer the stickers. We recommend being close to a surface you can lay down on. The stickers are super easy to apply and are barely noticeable.
5
Once the stickers are on, treat it like you would in the office; just lay down for 25-30 minutes and take a good acu-nap! The stickers have a small protective button over them so if you need to lay on one it shouldn’t bother you at all.
6
After the time is up, simply remove the stickers. Some can be left on for a few days, but let us guide you for which ones you can leave and which to take off. They’re small enough that you don’t need a home sharps container, just put them right in the trash.
